In this Thanksgiving special, Ted leaves the bar early to cook a turkey, and in his absence, his friends have an unforgettable party with Ted’s nemesis, Zoey (Jennifer Morrison). Viewers are introduced to the concept of “Blitz”, referring to someone who misses legendary moments due to bad luck. Turning early, Ted becomes Blitz.

When the gang ends up at Zoey’s for Thanksgiving, the episode becomes a turning point in Ted’s relationship with her. He is full of quintessence How I Met your mother a comedy and great for Zoe lovers despite the unfortunate ending to her and Ted’s story.

A new bartender at MacLaren’s gets his attention, but when she claims to hate men in suits, Barney must choose between her and his favorite clothes. More importantly, however, Ted grows closer to his soul mate as he dates her roommate Cindy (Rachel Bilson).

What viewers love about this episode is Girls VS Suits’ unexpected musical number that almost detracts from Ted’s storyline. While it’s still a long way off, it teases the happy ending everyone’s been waiting for.

Ted introduces his current girlfriend Kathy to his friends. They have a clear distaste for her and inform Ted that it’s because she talks too much. Ted asks why he didn’t notice, and he and the gang begin to notice each other’s worst flaws. Meanwhile, Marshall faces a dilemma as he forgets his password to check his law school results.

This episode teaches the lesson that no one is perfect. And sometimes it’s imperfection that solves the problem. The gang notes that Marshall’s annoying habit is his constant singing, but when he realizes that he has been singing his password all along, he is able to get his results.

7 Game Night - Season 1 Episode 15

“Game Night” is an episode of the band’s bonding. A night of harmless games soon turns into a time of reflection for Barney. The gang gets their hands on a tape that Barney sent to an old girl, and despite his wishes, they watch it. He shows a different side of Barney, the man he was before he became a corporate womanizer. After watching Barney makes everyone else tell embarrassing stories too.

What makes this episode unique is the showcase of Barney’s character, though it doesn’t redeem his sexist behavior. It was bad for the time, but it has aged even worse. However, the exchange of stories makes the episode interesting.

6 The Naked Man - Season 4, Episode 9

By this time in season 4, Ted is trying to leave after breaking up with ex-fiancee Stella (Sarah Chalk). Viewers are introduced to Mitch, or “The Naked Man”, based on his tactics of surprise exposure in order to sleep with a woman. Barney is inspired to try it and drags Ted along with him. Mitch told the gang that it works 2 out of 3 times and it causes Barney to fail.

It acts like an exhalation after the seriousness of Ted left at the altar, the perfect level of comedic relief for viewers. And, as fans will know, Mitch appears later in the Mother-related series in yet another awkward and humorous altercation.

5 The Pineapple Incident - Season 1, Episode 10

Flashing back a few seasons, “The Pineapple Incident” takes place while Ted is still in love with Robin. Barney tells Ted that he thinks too much and that he should get drunk to get rid of inhibitions. This leads to a drunken night of karaoke, pineapple, and a woman he doesn’t recognize in his bed. The next morning, Ted, Marshall and Lily try to solve the mystery of what happened the night before.

This classic episode has the perfect balance of humor and plot, and documents the situation of many 20 year olds. However, pineapple is still a mystery.

It’s a rollercoaster of emotions, from Ted letting Robin go to a long-awaited engagement. It’s bittersweet, despite the fact that viewers don’t always like Ted’s character. He stands in his house happy, but at the same time somehow crushed and lonely. This action-packed episode is the catalyst to bring this show to a close.

3 The Playbook - Season 5, Episode 8

The action takes place after Barney and Robin’s initial breakup, and Barney returns to womanizing again with his acting. He uses one of his scams to charm a woman Lily was about to set up with Ted, and in a fit of rage, she steals the playbook. She threatens to post it online, but hesitates when Barney starts The Scuba Diver, an outline he ripped out of the book. The gang can’t help but watch this end.

This episode shows how people deal with breakups in different ways. Lily sympathizes with Barney as he explains that these schemes are distracting him from Robin. This is a memorable episode, especially for all fans of Barney and his strange behavior.

Even those who don’t look How I Met your mother, most people will probably recognize “Let’s go to the mall”. This episode marks the day the gang learns that Robin was a teenage pop star. Ted digs in to find out her secret, and Barney and Marshall make a bet about it. Despite wanting to keep it a secret, Barney shows up with the video and the gang watches Robin Sparkles’ iconic music video.

This episode remains one of the most watched of all, and not just because of the song. The slap gag lasts until the very end How I met your mother while the audience waited in anticipation of the next slap.

Now the end is coming How I Met your mother, the highest rated episode is “How Your Mother Met Me”. Viewers finally got a special episode dedicated to Ted’s soulmate, Tracy (Christine Milioti). It follows Tracy and her life before Ted, including the heartbreaking loss of her boyfriend. Fans will see all the close conversations between Ted and Tracy, including the yellow umbrella and her conversation with Cindy about it.

This episode could have been a standalone show. The 25-minute limit does a disservice, but it’s still the cutest episode, full of heart and warmth. Justice for the Mother.
