Upcoming superhero movie Flash received high praise from an unexpected source. Recently joined twitterhorror writer Stephen King dubbed a DC movie featuring Ezra Miller as “smashing”, joining the positive comments already made.
After watching an extended screening of the film, which is slated to premiere in mid-June this year, King admitted that he enjoyed the film very much. “Today I have a preview of Flash. I usually don’t really like superhero movies, but this one is special.” - King, best-selling author, including horror novels. This (1986) Carrie (1974) Shine (1977) and Pet cemetery (1983), tweeted. King’s comments come after new images for the upcoming film were released earlier this week. One of the images shown Michael KeatonThe Dark Knight. The image shows Keaton in an updated Batsuit driving the Batwing, with Miller’s Flash in the back seat, ready to fight. The image was released after a short sixteen-second Mother’s Day teaser trailer was revealed over the weekend. In the teaser, an elderly Barry (Miller) travels back in time to tell his mother (Nora, played by Maribel Verdu) that she is “the best, kindest person in the world” while she is shopping for groceries. The scene promises that fans can expect genuine emotion along with the comedy and “smashing” graphics that King mentioned.
Based on the DC Comics universe of the same name. Flash inspired by storyline Flash point and will feature several DC comics characters including Batman, The Flash, and Supergirl (Sasha Calle). The film will focus on going back in time to Barry in hopes of saving his mother from being murdered and therefore creating an alternate timeline in which General Zod will appear (Michael Shannon) victory in the battle presented in Man of Steel (2013) and Ben Affleck replacing Keaton as Batman. Barry must put aside his love for his mother and work with his fellow superheroes to make things right.
