Fans can expect to see familiar faces when ghostly debuts on Apple TV+ this weekend as Chris Evans showed that some of his friends from Marvel Cinematic Universe will appear in a cameo or two in the upcoming action rom-com. During an interview in good morning americathe actor playfully revealed the information while promoting the project, which will also have Ana De Armas as host, alongside Evans’ character. While the actor hasn’t given any specific names, there’s a possibility that the film’s guests may be closer to his corner of the franchise than later entries.
ghostly was sent Dexter Fletcherand it follows the story of Cole (Evans), a young man who goes on a date with Sadie (De Armas) and ends up falling completely in love with her. Even though they had a lot of fun together, Sadie stops responding to Cole’s messages, leaving him frustrated and concerned about her well-being. Since Sadie told him she lives in London, Cole decides to fly to Europe himself to surprise her, but he was not prepared for what he would find by the time he arrived on the continent. Apparently, Sadie has been hiding the fact that she is a SWAT agent, and Cole sees himself involved in a conspiracy far bigger than anything he has ever encountered.

During the same interview in which he indicated that some of his Marvel co-stars would make cameos in ghostly, Chris Evans was asked if he would consider returning to the role of Captain America. Although the actor said that he would be happy to raise the shield again, he stated that it would be too soon and that he did not want to tarnish the legacy of his performance as Steve Rogers. Anthony Mackie is the current Captain America of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and will star in a film in the franchise for the first time next summer. Captain America: New World Order.
