Are we alone in the universe? What awaits the human race in the endless darkness beyond the abyss of space? These are questions that have been on people’s minds over the years, and the latest product from Vertical Entertainment has the answers to those questions. However, the answer is not entirely pleasant, as seen in the official trailer. War of the Worlds: Attack as Earth battles the threat of a deadly Martian invasion.

The new trailer features a plot centered on three young astronomers who track down a meteorite that has fallen on the planet and soon find themselves at the center of a Martian invasion. The group is aided by a soldier and they arrive in London, where they must find a way to save humanity. The task of humanity now is to fend off the enemy, who has been watching their rise and expansion for quite some time and is looking for the right time to strike.

Besieged by an enemy whose motives are obscure, their capabilities are unknown, except for the fact that their firepower gutted their target on impact, plunging the armies of the world into a battle they seem unable to win. However, as seen in the trailer, when faced with an almost impossible survival situation, the choice is usually twofold: fight or flee. On the question of the survival of humans as a species, these young astronomers decided to step up and stop the wave. War of the Worlds: Attack based on the bestselling novel H. G. Wells.

Director Junaid Syed wants to make the classic fairy tale accessible to young audiences

Telling the familiar tale of an alien invasion, this upcoming film tells the story from the perspective of young heroes. War of the Worlds; Attack leads Junaid Syed who previously told ScreenDaily that the aim of the project is to modernize the classic fairy tale for a younger audience. “The idea was to create a modernized version of HG Wells’ book. War of the Worlds respecting and trying to stay as close to the original story as possible. It has nostalgic elements for adults and, at the same time, fresh storylines that make it understandable for a younger audience,” said Syed.

War of the Worlds: Attack of the Stars Sam Gittins, Vincent Regan, Alhaji Fofana, Lara Lemon, Stefan Böhm, Rosie Steele And Leo Staar among others. In his feature directorial debut, Syed also co-wrote the screenplay with Tom Jolliff With Arun Kumar as an executive producer. Produce a film with Syed Haley Medwell And Jatinder Kumar Bhardwaj.
