Jenna Ortega was supposed to return for the fourth season of the Netflix series. Youbefore WednesdayThe filming schedule prevented her from doing so. In an interview with IndieWire You showrunner Sera Gamble revealed that Ellie Alves, the character played by Ortega on the show, was scheduled to return in new episodes that were released today on the platform: “We wanted to bring Ellie back and we heard, ‘Oh, Jenna is doing some kind of show.’ Gamble said. “It was so nice to see Jenna this year. We have ideas for Ellie if her schedule allows her to visit us again.”

Wednesday showed how Ortega plays the teenage version of the famous The Addams Family a character who now has psychic powers and is sent to Nevermore Academy for causing harm to several other schools. The show was hugely popular when it was released last November, dominating the Netflix viewership charts a month and a half after its debut on the platform. No surprise for anyone Wednesday was renewed for a second season, guaranteeing the return of the enigmatic and powerful Addams Girl. Plot details for the new episodes have not been revealed.

Horror slasher icon Ghostface also recently clashed with Ortega, with the actress joining the scream the last two installments of the franchise as Tara Carpenter. Talking about the future Creek VI, Ortega told fans that “… there’s so much going on (in the film) that it’s so action-packed and so gory that I think you’ll almost get distracted.” The comments were made when the actress was asked about Sydney Prescott (Neve Campbell) is missing from the new film, which is due out in theaters on March 10. The upcoming release will also be the series’ longest running to date, with the film running at 2 hours and 3 minutes.
