As we continue to look forward to the upcoming release Creed IIIWarner Bros. now offers fans of the famous boxing saga a chance to return to the roots of the franchise with Rocky: The Knockout Collection, which will include the first four rocky movies recently remastered in stunning 4K Ultra HD with HDR, meaning it’s the first time movies will be released in this format. The collection obviously won’t include the last two films in the film series, and while Warner Bros. offered no explanation for this, the lack seems to be made up for by the inclusion of some bonus content that is sure to please fans, including Sylvester StalloneDarling Rocky V. Drago: Best Director’s Cut which had a limited theatrical release in 2021.

rocky the franchise is undeniably one of the longest-running media franchises in film history. It’s been over four decades since the first movie was released, and over the years, fans have remained captivated by its charms, thanks in part to the spin-off’s success. Credo films that were equally successful with Michael B. Jordan like its main characters. This new collection promises to bring fans even closer to the acclaimed franchise and its beloved hero, considered by many to be one of cinema’s most inspiring characters. The new combo package will include films, rocky, Rocky 2, Rocky IIIAnd Rocky IV on Ultra HD Blu-ray disc with each feature film in 4K with HDR and digital version of the feature films.

Also included Rocky IV: Rocky vs. Drago The final director’s cut, in which Stallone masterfully recuts the film, adding another 40 minutes of footage. Previously, MGM described Stallone’s version as having a more intense fight scene, more powerful music, as well as heightened drama as Balboa confronts Soviet-backed Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren). Additional bonus content includes a Blu-ray disc with an hour behind the scenes documentary on the making of this extended director’s cut, as well as a range of pre-existing features.

First rocky The film is credited with setting the tone for the hugely successful franchise that would go on to be born. He introduced Rocky Balboa as a Philadelphia wrestling club fighter who gets the perfect opportunity to fight for self-respect and the heart of the woman he loves. The film received applause for Stallone’s acting, music, and exciting action scenes. It received a whopping 10 Academy Award nominations and won for Best Picture, Best Director and Best Film Editing. Therefore, it is not surprising that in 2006 the Library of Congress selected the film for preservation in the US National Film Registry as culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant. The franchise continues to expand and we have plans to do more. rocky movies, prequel series, and other spin-offs.
