Scott Calvin (ur.Tim Allen) the original head elf returns again to help him. David Kramholtz teases Bernard’s return on this week’s episode Santas, in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly. In the original 1994 Santa Claus In the film, Bernard was the one who explained to Scott what it meant to him to put on the mantle of Santa Claus. In 2002 Santa Claus 2Bernard along with Curtis (Spencer Breslin), told Scott that in order for him to continue being Santa, he needed to find a wife.
In this week’s edition SantasKrumholtz teased that Bernard would explain the history of Santa’s robe. “In my issue, we learn a lot about who Santa Claus really is, who he was, who elves are and why they exist,” Krumholtz said. “The whole thing is presented in some perspective instead of just accepting the fact that somewhere on top of the Earth there are pointy-eared elves working for a jolly, bearded, fat man. This is a mixture of the real story of the myth of Santa Claus. it’s been written about for hundreds of years, adding something new to make it all make sense. It’s really, really brilliant.”
Krumholtz also teased that his episode would reveal more about what really happened the night the previous Santa fell off Scott Calvin’s rooftop. “This is a real, sincere attempt to create a kind of Santa Claus and elves bloodline,” Krumholtz said.
“You get an idea of what exactly happened that night in the first movie when Santa Claus fell off Scott Calvin’s roof, why Scott Calvin became Santa Claus, why it was him and not someone else. Did Santa really die when he fell off this roof? roof? What really happened that night? What is really going on with Santa Claus and the elves?
Bernard was last seen on screen 20 years ago in Santa Claus 2. In 2006 year Santa Claus 3: Escape Clause, the role of the head elf went to Curtis. AT SantasBetty (Matilda Lawler) and Noel (Devin Bright) became Santa’s most trusted elves. Bernard will also visit Scott after he leaves Santa Claus and chooses Simon Choksi (Kal Penn) to be the next person to take up the mantle. The original head elf will return just in time, as the latest episode showed the North Pole elves vanishing into thin air.
