DC animated series Harley Quinn released a hilarious sneak preview of Season 3 during San Diego Comic Con. In the clip, Harley and Poison Ivy explore their newfound relationship while the former states, “Harley and Ivy are taking over the fucking world.” The clip then shows several (ill-advised) adventures as a couple of Gordon’s fraud commissioners go on holiday with the money because of his credit card information. Later on the yacht, Harley is seen beating the paparazzi and screaming as he throws him into the ocean, “And tell Ben Affleck I got his fancy SodaStream up on the upper deck!!”
While the previous trailer confirms the presence of the director James Gunn the appearance of himself in the animated film, the name of Affleck in the series came as a surprise. For the uninitiated: Affleck played Batman in two DC movies and made a cameo appearance in the original. Suicide Squad where quinn played Margot Robbie. One can only guess what surprises the rest of the series brings.
New season Harley Quinn highlights the budding romance between Ivy and Quinn as they return to Gotham as a new power couple. Season 3 picks up where it left off the previous season, with Harley and Ivy escaping and the Joker going back to his usual ways.
Cast of Season 3 Kaley Cuoco like Harley, along with Lake Bell like poison ivy Alan Tudyk like the Joker and Clayface, Tony Hale like Doctor Psycho Ron Funches like King Shark, Jason Alexander like sai borgman, JB Smooth like Frank Plant, and James Adomian like Bane. In addition, the invited guests this season are Diedrich Bader like batman, Chris Meloni like Commissioner Gordon, Sana Lathan like Catwoman Briana Cuoco like Barbara Gordon, aka Batgirl, and Harvey Guillen like Nightwing.
Fans will have to wait until Harley Quinn season 3 hits HBO Max on July 28. In the meantime, check out the new clip and the official synopsis below:
