Zara decided to close a few stores that weren’t making enough money and weren’t generating enough interest. This, of course, does not mean that the network will completely leave Poland.

Zara is a well-known fashion chain that constantly surprises customers not only with new collections, but also with business ideas. More recently, she has decided to sell used clothes and is testing this solution in several countries. Unfortunately, for economic reasons, the brand does not intend to keep all of its stores. Some of them disappear from Poland.

So far, Zara has closed two stores: one in Pasaż Grunwaldzki in Wroclaw and the other in Poznań Plaza in Wroclaw. Now a decision has been made to liquidate the CH Galaxy salons in Szczecin. All this in order to bet only on top salons, the maintenance of which pays off the most.

Although the company boasts a profit of PLN 6.04 million in Poland, it intends to continue sales only in other outlets. At the moment we have 41 brand stores where customers can find clothes, shoes, underwear and other clothing accessories for women, men and children. Most importantly, the sale is carried out both stationary and online. It is worth noting that the network reacts to the market situation and raises prices, recently explaining this step by the desire to improve the quality of clothing.

Zara in Poland. Here’s what the results look like now

After Zara compared its current results to last year, it concluded that its net revenue had increased. Revenue was recorded in the amount of PLN 2,063.3 million, while previously it was PLN 1,488.5 million, which is as much as 38 percent more than in the previous year. more. The brand regularly tries to improve its stores and invest in the most profitable points. For example, in January 2023, a general renovation of the store at Galeria Mokotów in Warsaw began. The store has been expanded and updated. It is known that the chain also plans to expand retail space in the Arcadia shopping center in Warsaw and in the Kaskada shopping center in Szczecin.

As for the increase in the company’s profitability, it is known that Zara boasts operating profit (EBIT), which increased from PLN 22 million to PLN 39 million compared to last year. If you are worried that shops will completely disappear from Poland, then this is definitely for no reason. Despite some closures, the chain is doing very well.
