The latest edition of My Electricity has already seduced many Poles with subsidies. As it turned out, the money goes quickly, so perhaps the recruitment will end earlier. To get funds, it is better to hurry with the formalities.
The fifth edition of the My Electricity subsidy program launched on April 22, and interest in support seems to be huge. According to the organizers, the funds have already been largely disbursed and may not wait until December.
My Electricity 5 program - half of the money for subsidies has already been used
Pavel Mirovsky, vice president of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Resources Management, recently commented on the current state of the program. In a comment to PAP, he pointed out that since the start of the program at the end of April this year, departments have already received 33,000 applications. applications totaling almost PLN 297 million. This is more than half of the budget allocated for the fifth edition of the PV and heat pump subsidies.
Mirowski adds that current funds may not be available before the application deadline. This one was scheduled for December 22, 2023. If interest remains constant, the prepared budget will be exhausted in mid-September. This forecast already takes into account the fact that the rulers quickly increased the resources of My Current. The total funds of the fifth issue are not PLN 100, but PLN 500 million. They still may not match the interests.
However, the vice-president of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Resources assures that there will be no shortage of money in the end. If half a billion zlotys turns out to be too little, the government will consider another budget expansion. However, it is better to play it safe and apply as soon as possible.
Great interest in the My Electricity program
It is worth recalling that the maximum amount of co-financing under the My Electricity program is PLN 58,000. zloty. In addition, the subsidy limit is 50 percent of eligible costs. Each device has different financial thresholds, for example, for heat pumps you can get a maximum of PLN 28.5 thousand. zloty.
We will also receive a lot of money to buy an energy storage device - up to PLN 16,000. We will receive up to PLN 7,000 for micro photovoltaic installations. In the case of investments in solar collectors for heating water, we will receive PLN 3,500. We will receive PLN 500 less for the purchase of HEMS/EMS energy management systems. The decision to receive funding will be communicated within a maximum of 90 days.
