500 plus is paid to each child from birth to adulthood. They are available to all children, including children in foster care or care centres. To receive money for a child, you must regularly submit relevant documents. What if we don’t submit them on time?
Where to apply for 500 plus?
Applications for the withdrawal of 500 plus can only be submitted online. ZUS recommends using its own app, mZUS. However, there are several other solutions such as:

points for filing electronic applications in branches and at the post office.
You also need to fill out an application. They differ from each other due to the subject that will submit this document.

in the case of the mother or father of the child, an SW-R application must be completed;

in the case of persons in foster care, an SW-O application must be completed;

for the director of a care and training facility, a care and therapy facility, a pre-adoption intervention center, or a welfare home, an SW-D application must be completed.
Parents applying for child care allowance for more than one child must submit one application. If there is a child and another person’s legal guardian, two applications must be submitted.
When should I apply to ZUS?
If you apply before April 30, benefits will be paid from the end of June. If applications are submitted at a later date, settlements will be made in subsequent months. For example:

applications submitted in May - payment of funds by July 31 (with compensation for June);

applications submitted in June - disbursement of funds by August 31 (with compensation from June);

applications submitted in July - payment of funds by September 30 (with compensation from July);

applications submitted in August - payment of funds until October 31 (with compensation from August).
The new withdrawal period 500 plus is valid from June 1, 2023 to May 31, 2024.
Where will we get the answer about the 500+ award?
Regardless of how we submit the application, the response will be sent to the PUE ZUS platform. What if we don’t have a profile there? Then ZUS will set it up for us by itself. It will contain all the data that we included in the application for 500 plus.
