What is relief 4 plus?

The “4 plus” benefit is an offer for large families raising at least four children. It provides exemption from income tax on income of up to PLN 85,528 per parent. The benefit is available to all minor children, as well as adult children receiving a social pension or care allowance; or adult students, if in the tax year they did not receive income taxed according to the tax scale.

Who is eligible for benefit 4 plus?

The tax exemption is available to people raising at least four children.

  • exercise parental authority,

  • act as legal guardian

  • act as a foster family on the basis of a court decision or an agreement concluded with the headman,

Benefit 4 Plus is also available to parents raising adults if they have maintenance obligations or are acting as a foster carer.

What is benefit 4 plus?

Benefit 4+ is provided to employees:

  • under an employment contract

  • under an agency agreement concluded with a person carrying out economic activities, the owner (possessor) of the real estate in which the premises are rented, or a manager or administrator acting on his behalf

  • doing business is taxed according to the tax scale, with a flat tax rate of 5% (the so-called IP Box benefit) and a lump sum payment on registered income

People receiving maternity benefits can also benefit from tax relief.
