Leave in case of force majeure is an additional 2 days or 16 hours. This number applies to people who are employed full-time under an employment contract. You are entitled to remuneration for this weekend, but only half the amount, and not 100 percent, as is the case with annual leave.

Rules for using leave due to force majeure

To take advantage of force majeure leave, you must submit a corresponding application to your employer. The manager cannot refuse to provide an employee with an additional day off in a situation in which he has the right to do so (for example, illness). The employee must decide whether to work all day or take an hour break.
