Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was the last game shown by Sony at the PlayStation Showcase. The developers presented a trailer introducing the new enemy of the main characters of the game - Kraven the Hunter, and a 10-minute gameplay video.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Gameplay and Trailer with New Enemy
The first material dedicated to the latest game from the Spider-Man universe was a two-minute atmospheric trailer introducing a new enemy. From the first seconds of the trailer in the middle of the jungle (the logos of Marvel Studios and Insomniac Games were not displayed on the screening), it was hard to guess that this would be a show about Spider-Man. However, an adversary known to Marvel fans soon appeared, declaring a big manhunt targeting the two main characters in the Spider-Man costume, Peter Parker and Miles Morales.
The short trailer turned out to be an introduction to the show with over 10 minutes of gameplay. First, we saw how Spider-Man used the power of the symbiote in combat. It soon became clear that Peter Parker was hiding under the suit.
After some time, Miles Morales appeared on the screen, who will become the second character that the player can play. We saw a spectacular web-fly between skyscrapers that brought the younger arachnid to the mission site, where it silently eliminated its opponents from the air, only to see the skin shed by the mysterious beast.
Soon Peter Parker enters the scene, and after a while the beast appears, for which both heroes go on an exciting chase - this time over water - and they are accompanied by human opponents.
Unfortunately, Sony still hasn’t announced an exact release date for the game. Fans should be pleased with the confirmation that the game will debut on PlayStation 5 this fall.

Trailers were shown during the PlayStation Showcase, including games like Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Alan Wake 2, Marathon, Dragon’s Dogma 2, Street Fighter 6 or Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, a remake of the third installment in the cult series. Sony also showed off new accessories for the PlayStation 5, a portable device for streaming games from the console via WiFi and wireless headphones.
