Hot dog from Zhabka with home delivery
Żabka Jush, as the first company in the q-commerce market in Poland, introduces hot snacks into its range. From May 16, you can order the iconic hot dogs and paninis through the app. So far, the new functionality is available as part of a pilot program only in Krakow.
– Hot dogs are a favorite hot snack for Poles when they don’t have time to cook their own food. It also ranks first among the warm products offered in the Żabka chain of stores, so it was a matter of time to introduce it into our application. In this way, we respond to the needs of our customers who often need a quick bite to eat. Whether they are at work, at home, at a party or spending time outdoors. I am glad that we are the first company in the q-commerce market that offers hot snacks and thus sets trends for the entire industry - highlights Kamil Bankowski, director of marketing and e-commerce at Lite e-Commerce.
The appetizer is served in a standard bun and with the addition of a sauce of your choice. Żabka Jush users will be able to order a maximum size hot dog with sausage, which will be delivered with one of three sauces to choose from: ketchup, thousand islands and garlic sauce.
Panini, on the other hand, will be available in three flavors: chicken, cheddar cheese, and ham, cheese, and jalapenos. The process of preparing hot dogs and panini takes place in the same place where orders are collected. Before being transported, snacks are properly protected from refrigeration and damage.
In 2022, 74 million hot dogs were sold.
Last year, Zhabka sold nearly 74 million hot dogs. The ability to order snacks through the app could beat that figure.
