In the next, fourth incarnation of the popular processor, Qualcomm reportedly intends to abandon the implementation of this type of energy-saving cores and replace them with some new technology. According to unofficial data, the new Snapdragon 8 processor model will consist of two high-performance “Phoenix L” cores and six mid-range “Phoenix M” cores, which together will provide even greater performance for top Android smartphones.
