Reputable tipsters from Digital Chat Station wrote on Weibo that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processors will no longer have power-saving cores, which should be replaced by new generation cores in the future. Currently, Snapdragon 3 series processors have two cores of this type (out of eight), which are used to calculate the simplest and least burdensome tasks that Android mobile devices may encounter.

In the next, fourth incarnation of the popular processor, Qualcomm reportedly intends to abandon the implementation of this type of energy-saving cores and replace them with some new technology.
