7 debutantes on the list of the richest Polish women. Who are the new Polish millionaires?

This year’s list of the 50 richest Polish women is a list of many goodbyes. The list no longer includes, among others: Sylwia Gołębiewska, renowned manufacturer of nail polishes under the Semilac brand. There is no Grażyna Karkosik, who together with her husband decided to delist many family companies from the Warsaw Stock Exchange. There is neither Alina Szynaka, one of the largest furniture manufacturers in Poland, nor Krystyna Jasinska, who owns shares in the large Warsaw developer Victoria Dom. Ewa Lechowska from Prymat spices and Joanna Kolakowska from furniture company DFM also dropped out of the ranking.

The ladies who left the list gave way to new enterprising Polish women.

Pipe and Rod Billionaire

Alicia Kotarba from the technical and commercial office of BTH Import Stal in Krakow debuted in the top ten with assets worth PLN 1.05 billion. Since 1992 it has been supplying the Polish industry with steel products.

The company’s products include: sheets, profiles, pipes, rods and stainless steel profiles. In addition, BTH Import Stali provides laser and plasma cutting, sheet metal bending, stainless steel polishing and grinding services.

Shingles, fittings and shutters

Iwona Lach took 21st place with assets of PLN 484 million. Together with her husband Mariusz Lach, they run the Krakow company Blachprofil 2. They produce tin tiles. They also developed a roof structure integrated with a photovoltaic system.

Two more places went to Wieslawa Kalkus, who controls a quarter of the shares of the Krakow company Motorol Automotive. This year, together with other family members, she made her debut in our most important ranking – the List of the 100 richest Poles. Sells spare parts, auto chemicals, oils and accessories for cars and minibuses. The company has been on the market for more than 30 years and employs more than 250 people.

Mother and daughter Renata Szukalska and Polina Szukalska-Brynska took 31st place. Together they control half of the shares of the Kalisz company Portos.

It is one of the largest manufacturers of roller blinds, blinds, roller shutters, interior covers and mosquito nets in the country. The company’s revenues amount to hundreds of millions of zlotys. So is profit. In addition to Renata and Polina Szukalski, the company’s shareholders are also father and son, that is, Tomasz and Piotr Szukalski.

Live chat millionaire

Urszula Jarzembowska is ten positions further. He owns more than 1.2 million shares of listed company Text, formerly Livechat. It is one of the largest business software providers. Their solutions are primarily designed to support sales and customer service.

The flagship product is Livechat, a fast and intuitive messenger designed to help users visiting the company’s website establish contact.

Urszula Jarzembowska has been working at Text for over 20 years. Since 2010 he has been a member of the board. Graduated from the University of Economics in Wroclaw. She previously worked, among others, for Bankier.pl and Internet Works. Currently, the cost of the text exceeds 3 billion zlotys.

Serwistal shareholders from Elk are in 46th place on our list. Urszula Grobarczyk and Joanna Kanevska each control 16%. shares of a well-known manufacturer of metal products. The company offers, among other things: galvanized, coated, cold-rolled, hot-rolled and aluminum sheet steel.

The 50 heroines of the latest edition of the List of the 50 richest Polish women have accumulated a total of 35 billion zlotys. To debut on this year’s list, you had to have at least 103 million zlotys.
