It is important to note that in recent years the number of road traffic accidents involving road users aged 0 to 14 years has significantly decreased - over the past decade, the number of road traffic accidents with their participation has decreased by 51%.

Five years later, there were 2823 accidents (8.86% of the total), and in 2022 only 1797, i.e. over the past decade, the number of accidents involving them has decreased by more than 51%. Along with a decrease in the number of incidents, the statistics of victims and victims also decreases. Last year there were 53 victims and 1,868 children injured, compared to 90 victims and 3,949 injured ten years ago.
