Toyota topped the automotive sector for the 20th consecutive year in Interbrand’s ranking of the world’s most valuable brands. The latest Best Global Brands 2023 report values ​​the company at $64.5 billion.

Toyota supplies its vehicles to customers in more than 170 countries and regions, making it the largest automobile manufacturer in the world. The company sold nearly 10.5 million Toyota, Lexus, Daihatsu and Hino vehicles worldwide in 2022, maintaining 2021 levels.

According to Interbrand experts, who decided to rank Toyota number 1 in the automotive industry, the success of the Japanese is due to a diverse model range and a wide choice of versions and drive types.

Toyota ahead of Mercedes-Benz and BMW

Which car brands have given way to Toyota? Mercedes-Benz came in second in the automotive industry, followed by BMW, Tesla, Honda, Hyundai, Audi, Porsche, Volkswagen and Ford.

In turn, when comparing the automotive industry with other sectors of the economy, Toyota took 6th place. It was preceded by such companies as: Apple (the winner of the rating), Microsoft, Amazon, Google and Samsung. Toyota and Mercedes-Benz overtook Coca-Cola and Nike, followed by BMW (10th overall).
